Prices in writing, before you start.
Websites are $350, $1,000 or $2,000, and apps start at $6,500. Every project gets a fixed price and a launch date in writing before you pay anything, and you work with me, Spencer Reeder, from the first call to the last change after launch.
How payment works
- Your deposit holds your start date.
- Every website is paid half to start and half at launch. The Blueprint is paid up front, and a Starter App is paid 40% to start, 30% when you can first try a working version, and 30% at launch.
- The final payment is due before the site or app goes live on your domain.
- Your domain is in your name from the first day. Once the work is paid for, the code, design and content made for you are yours, for a website or an app. I keep the general tools I build with, and you get a permanent license to the parts your project uses.
- A few costs go to other companies and are billed to you directly: your domain renewal and business email, and for apps, services like card processing, text messages or AI, at their own rates.
If the plan changes
If you want something that isn’t in the scope, I’ll send you a price and a new date in writing before I start it. Swapping one page for another of the same size before you approve the design costs nothing. If a project waits on your content or feedback for more than ten business days, it pauses and moves to my next open slot. You can stop at any milestone, pay for the milestones reached, and own the work you’ve paid for.
Your launch date, in writing
Your launch date goes in the agreement, counted from the day I have your deposit and everything I need from you. If I miss it for a reason on my side, you get a month of Care free for each week I’m late, up to two months. Changes you ask for move the date. Every launch comes with free fixes after it goes live: seven days for a Landing Page, 14 for a Business Site, and 30 for a Signature 3D Site or a Starter App. If something I built doesn’t work as it should in that time, I fix it free. New changes count toward Care, or I quote them.
